Earache takes over Camp Bestival

Friday in The Big Top is going be extra special this year as we invite Earache Records for a Camp Bestival takeover like never before! The extreme metal specialists will bring 4 of their leading acts to Lulworth for a frenzy of metal, riffs and fun with Napalm Death, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Diamond Head and Lawnmower Deth. “We’re excited to partner with Rob and Camp Bestival to add a dose of heaviness to the proceedings in 2019! In addition to our long time friends and grindcore pioneers Napalm Death, who still have the power to melt faces from a mile away, we’ve had the pleasure of inviting the former Motörhead legend that is Phil Campbell and his band. As the old ‘Head saying goes, be prepared for ‘Everything Louder Than Everything Else!’. Rounding out the Earache line-up are NWOBHM heroes Diamond Head, the band without whom Metallica would never have existed (just ask Lars....), and crossover thrash gardening machinery obsessives Lawnmower Deth, a band built for mass audience participation and mighty riff shenanigans. Earache extends a warm welcome to anyone interested in the heavier side of music, and especially those that haven’t experienced a metal show before – you’re all invited to come and have fun, have a mosh and lose yourself in a frenzy of riffs and rhythms. See you down the front!” Earache Records “Napalm Death’s mission is and always has been to open Eyes, Ears and Minds to new perspectives, and to boldly cross over musical boundaries! With that said we are beyond thrilled to be asked to play at Camp Bestival - it’s going to be a lot of fun and that’s just as important too.” Shane Embury, Napalm Death See you down the front!
