Citing influences as diverse as Herbie Mann, Lalo Schifrin, Tom Waits and Wu Tang Clan, Laura's own stunning compositions take in traditional folk stylings with an exhilaratingly modern electronic edge. Her live shows utilise her many talents to the extreme, flitting between flute and mandolin, using a loop station to steadily build vibe, groove and atmosphere before her lush vocals seal the deal.
