Jonny Trunk

Jonny Trunk is one of the world's leading authorities on and collectors of film music, TV music and unusual recordings. He is currently broadcaster of the year on Resonance FM (the radio station started by John Peel) where his weekly soundtrack music show has gathered quite a worldwide following. He has monthly columns in Mojo Magazine and Record Collector, and is a regular guest and pundit on London Live and 6Music.
In 1995 Jonny set up Trunk Records, the hugely influential label responsible for issuing classic lost recordings - releases have included The Wicker Man soundtrack, Kes and all the music from the animation classics by Oliver Postgate, including The Clangers, Ivor the Engine and Pogles Wood.
Jonny DJs worldwide, has compered at the Royal Festival Hall and has taken his successful, award winning "Dirty Fan Male" show to Edinburgh twice. He has written books about Library music and adventures in mail order, and he currently holds the world record for the shortest track ever to reach the top 30 - "The Ladies Bras" runs to a mere 36 seconds and made it to number 27 in the charts.
