It is a talent that has seen him work with all of folk music's heavyweights from Billy Bragg to Eliza and Martin Carthy as well as becoming an integral part of the magical Imagined Village collective.
2009 has been a storming year for Chris with his last album "Trespasser" winning Best Album and Chris himself picking up Folk Singer of the Year at the 2009 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and 2010 is set to continue in fine style with the release of his new album "Handmade Life" which sets it's sights on modern life and marks a stunning progression in his already enviable songwriting talent.
