Emerging from the same London folk scene that produced Laura Marling and Noah and the Whale, Mumford and Sons play an enchanting mix of country tinged acoustic splendor and while their career may still be in its embryonic stages they’ve already made the BBC Sound of 2009 list. 

While their hometown may be London their music references their shared love of Southern State American bluegrass, folk and country, while their lyrics express a world weariness that belies their tender ages to create an authentic acoustic folk experience.
