Your Day by Day Weekend Revealed
Today marks just 40 days to go until we throw open the gates to Camp Bestival and welcome one and all to Lulworth Castle for our 10th birthday celebrations. And now that the clock is truly ticking we can unveil the day by day breakdown of who is on when. As ever, in response to Pop Star & Rock Star daytrip demand, Day Tickets are on sale and selling like hotcakes, so make sure you get yours while you still can! Rob da Bank says: “There’s only 40 days to go until this year’s 10th birthday Camp Bestival, and now that we can reveal all the action day by day, the excitement in the da Bank household has hit fever pitch. Yes indeed, with the likes of Mark Ronson, All Saints and Big Fish Little Fish on Friday, Madness, School of Rock, and our old mate Mr Tumble on Saturday, and pop god Brian Wilson, Leftfield and Reginald D Hunter on Sunday, there’s loads for everyone to do. Add in family entertainment throughout the weekend, mouth-watering food and some rather tasty cocktails and you’ve got a Pop Star & Rock Star party like no other. And if you can’t make it for the whole weekend, come and hang out for a day! I’ll see ya down the front.” On Friday 28th July, Mark Ronson will be hitting the decks for his headline set. There will be more music across the castle grounds from All Saints, Ray BLK, Becky Hill, The Cuban Brothers, Mexrrissey, Reverend & The Makers, T’Pau, The Blockheads, and Louis Berry. Don’t miss sets from our special guest Holly Johnson, The Bootleg Beatles, Kate Nash, Alice Jemima, The Smiths Ltd, Skream and a Raindance takeover featuring Billy Daniel Bunter, Altern-8 and more. And there will be plenty of interactive delights including the Fancy Dress Parade, the fiercely contested Pimp My Trolley competition, and highly coiffured Beard & Moustache competition.
