A jaw-dropping stage brimming with everything from Dorset’s finest country punk and all-girl garage rock to story-telling musicians and interactive theatre shows, Oberon’s Observatory is a real charmer, so make sure to come along and do-si-do your partner, this July at Lulworth Castle! From punk to garage, folk to electronica it’s all going off on Oberon’s!” image Ensuring Oberon’s Observatory goes with a swing there will be banjulele-fuelled chap-hop from Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, indie Americana from Old Sea Brigade, British Country Music chanteuse Laura Oakes, dreamy atmospheres from Beckie Margaret, and Norfolk-infused riff action from Graceland. There will be even more live music and hoedown joy from Miss Kiddy and the Cads, Dat Brass, Cut a Shine Hoedown, Bring Your Own Brass (B.Y.O.B), Thrill Collins, our annual helping of audience-based high-jinx from Folk Idol, Molteno and Maisy Banks. And that’s not all, Oberon’s Observatory will also play host to fantastic family shows and music including The Two Man Travelling Medicine Show, Nick Cope Family Concert, Gareth P Jones: Ninja Alien Dinosaur Party!, Mina Music and Theatre Tots: The Star That Rocked.
