The ATE Trust: Woodland Warriors

The ATE Trust are once again back in their spiritual homeland- the Dingly Dell- ready to bring the woods to life & give you the wild adventure your festival needs! As usual ATE's Woodland Warriors will be serving up a continuous feast of games, riddles & songs from 11am till late every day, with this year's craft workshops featuring some amazing new projects (willow dragonflies & dream-catchers), as well as the ever-popular willow lanterns. New for this year, you can join in with live & interactive dangerous demos that will send things catapulting, exploding & pinging through the canopy; be ready to duck! As ever, you'll need to keep your wits about you, as unusual characters could be lurking around any corner; we've heard rumours that this year a team of scientists will be in the woods using all manner of gadgets & gizmos to investigate the 'harmonious vibrations of the dell', accompanied by their loud & extrovert rockstar backing band. Be sure to check out their Family Show on Saturday & Sunday afternoons; it looks like it'll be like Live Aid gone horribly wrong! Each evening in the Dell we've got a whole host of daring woodland adventures, with ATE's Extreme Evening Escapades! Each night a different interactive experience will be available in the woods, which will be teeming with all manner of weird & wonderful characters: On Friday night you'll need to dodge the Dingly Dell Demons in 'Meet the Monsters', come dressed to impress for Saturday night's 'Meet the Popstars' autograph hunt, before Sunday night's Wildlife Documentary special 'Meet the Natives'. Each experience will be completely different & last 30-45 minutes. As darkness falls we've got your favourite night-time magic in the shape of our ever-popular Shadow Puppet Theatre (Friday & Saturday) and Willow Lantern-lit Procession, Story & Hot Chocolate (Sunday) finishing in good time for you to still catch the fireworks.
