Jack Rooke

Jack Rooke is a comedian, compere and campaigner from Watford. A veteran Bestival compere, Jack hosts The Literary Institute at Camp Bestival, The Amphitheatre at Bestival and and comedy-poetry-music showcase Save The Male in aid of CALM. His debut show Good Grief premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015 to numerous 5-star reviews, a Total Theatre award nomination and a feature in The New York Times. He is the resident expert in bereavement and mental health for BBC Radio 1's The Surgery and an ambassador for male suicide prevention charity CALM. He has performed at Soho Theatre, Trafalgar Studios, Roundhouse, Latitude, Royal Court, Bestival and The Edinburgh Festival.
