Performers

Rob da Bank

As the founder of Sunday Best Recordings he has created one of the UK's bravest and most eclectic independent record labels and as Bestival's head honcho he has shown every performing arts festival on the planet exactly how it should be done.

But those major achievements are just a couple of feathers in the great man's cap.  As a DJ, Rob is one of the world's finest, boasting a limitlessly open minded attitude to music that has seen him travel the planet, spreading the word that club music doesn't just have to be a series of repetitive beats.

Since 2002 Rob has also been the mainstay of BBC Radio One's leftfield programming, with his Sunday Night/Monday morning allowing Rob to express himself and provide the  airwaves with a truly maverick 2 hours of eclectic heaven week after week.

2008 sees Rob diversify yet again with the creation of a new festival experience in the form of Camp Bestival. Along with creative director and wife Josie they have created a festival that perfectly harks back to the halcyon days of summers past and with Rob curating the musical side of things you can expect the usual high standard of legendary artists alongside the world's hottest prospects.
