Kid Carpet
Kid Carpet, real name Ed Patrick makes what he describes as 'Kiddy Disco Punk' and 'Shit Hop' in his home studio using various samplers, casio keys, an old Fisher Price guitar and the innards of an old Tamagotchi.
Making his live debut at the tender age of 21 he has gone on to support the likes of Willy Mason, Badly Drawn Boy, The Go! Team and our very own Cuban Brothers, he's best described as a lo-fi troubadour along the lines of Billy Bragg or Matthew Herbert, just with added Furbies and fax machines.
Now signed to Rob da Bank's Sunday Best Recordings with a new album out this spring / summer!
