David E Sugar
From 2004 David E Sugar has been a mainstay on the UK and European ‘Chip Music’ scheme. Chip Music (nothing to do with potatoes) is the art of using tracker software on a Gameboy to create sequences, which are then built and layered with other instrumentation to create, well to be honest, to create damn fine electro pop music.
2007 saw David’s profile soar with a supporting slot on Calvin Harris’ UK tour as well as his own gigs across the UK and Europe his shows have evolved into a more improvised electronic mash-up that creates an awesome party atmosphere. And remember Gameboy’s aren’t just toys for small boys you know.
